Interscholastic League of Hawaii (ILH) High School Water Polo games are governed by NFHS Rules with the following exceptions:

(1) A 35-Second Shot-Clock is used vice a 30-Second Shot-Clock.

(2) Each team is afforded one 20-second time-out that can be used during any of the first four quarters of play. It cannot be used in any overtime period.

(3) ILH INT Games are 6 Minutes (vice 5 Minutes) in Length effective the Fall of 2017.

(4) ILH V2 Games are 6 Minutes in Length effective the Fall of 2017.

(5) ILH V1 Games are 7 Minutes in Length effective the Fall of 2017.

Oahu Interscholastic Association (OIA) High School Water Polo games are governed by NFHS Rules with the following exceptions:

(1) A 35-Second Shot-Clock is used vice a 30-Second Shot-Clock.

(2) Each team is afforded one 20-second time-out that can be used any time during the game. This includes any overtime period.
